How You Can Help

Tony was found by the Sacramento River as a puppy...tied up next to a man who had been dead for three days. He was emaciated, dehydrated, and had lost most of his fur.
The poor dog managed to wag his tail when he was found...now a healthy, happy boy, he is still wagging.
His rehab took almost a year...and now he has something to wag about. He was adopted by Pam, a WOOFF volunteer. They are a perfect match...they both enjoy hiking, camping,
long walks on the beach, and kicking back in front of the television.
Tony excels at pro-level hose chasing, and Pam has a good shot at the best-mother-in-the-universe title.

Misha is an Australian Shepherd who sees with her nose...she has been blind since birth. There are no words to describe this dog's beautiful spirit.
The poor girl found herself without a home when her guardian lost his housing. She has
been adopted by a family in South Lake Tahoe, where
she is adored the way she should be. She lives with a Border Collie
who has a crush on her and brings her toys, two little girls, and
an awesome mom. To her delight, she has discovered that
there are no fleas in Tahoe. To learn about Lethal Whites, the result of irresponsible merle to merle
breeding, go to AussieLads.com.

Sammy did not get off to a great start in life. He was passed around homeless camps,
and ended up with a homeless woman who died on the Sacramento River...he was guarding her body when they found her.
Sammy had never been in a house, and it was with much delight that he discovered couches. He also
discovered that a dog cannot nab anything and everything that looks interesting.
He now lives with Ken and Linda, special people who have made him a very happy dog.
It turns out that he is a Red Sox fan, and is discovering many interests. Ken says
"Sammy seems to be happiest looking worshipfully into Linda's eyes and watching her melt and coo."
